SlipNOT® Metal Safety Flooring, leader in non-slip metal safety flooring, has donated $5,000 to Christ Child Society of Detroit to be used to provide children with school supplies for the upcoming school year.
Christ Child House is owned and operated by the Christ Child Society of Detroit which dedicates itself to providing to the material, educational, emotional and spiritual needs of poor and disadvantaged children in the Detroit and surrounding areas. Christ Child Society of Detroit works to improve the quality of life for the children to help create a strong foundation to utilize throughout adulthood.
Christ Child House is a state-licensed, residential treatment facility with two locations in Detroit. It is home to 28 boys ages 6 – 16 and offers educational and medical opportunities, as well as support, for the children living there in hopes of providing them with a strong foundation and bright future.
SlipNOT® Metal Safety Flooring recognizes the importance of starting off the school year as strong as possible. With the monetary donation, Christ Child House will be able to provide its residents with age appropriate items that fit the individual needs of every child such as appropriate clothes, pens, notebooks, folders, backpacks, crafts supplies and recreational items. These items will provide the children with the tools to start out the school year positively.
