Perforated plate comes in many readily available patterns, shapes and sizes. Most commonly, 1/4” diameter holes on 3/8” staggered centers is the pattern of choice. Many applications that require perforated plate need the solid walking surface of plate combined with the flow through advantage of perforated plate.
