Genuine SLIPNOT Extended Warranty
Available on Genuine SLIPNOT stainless steel material, this 5 year extended warranty reinforces our promise to keep you safe for every step you take.
Eligibility for this extended warranty requires SLIPNOT verification of proper installation of Genuine SLIPNOT stainless steel at your facility or site. Since SLIPNOT is inspecting and confirming proper installation at the point of use, it does not matter if you, a contractor, or other third party place the order and install the material.
SLIPNOT stainless steel has been independently tested and verified to last at least 5x longer than alternative slip resistant solutions. We’re proud to back up these results with our 5 year extended warranty.
Delamination Guarantee
In conjunction with our Genuine SLIPNOT extended warranty on stainless steel, SLIPNOT now offers a 20-year guarantee against delamination of our stainless steel surface.
- If the stainless steel material you installed was fabricated prior to the application of the SLIPNOT surface, SLIPNOT guarantees that the coating will not delaminate for at least 20 years under normal installation and use conditions.
- If material was fabricated from pre-treated SLIPNOT stainless steel material and done in compliance with SLIPNOT’s stated fabrication methods, SLIPNOT guarantees these surfaces will not delaminate for at least 20 years under normal installation and use conditions.
Covered Fabrication Methods
- Flame/torch cutting
- Laser cutting
- Plasma cut
- Water-jet
- Welding
- Air bending internal angles of 75°-90° and a minimum bend radius of 3/4"
For air bending, use standard practices for the thickness and type of substrate alloy to be formed.
Non-steel SLPNOT surfaces require protection from steel tooling contact points or rust lines from the forming process will appear later due to the steel surface contamination.
Forming aluminum SLIPNOT will result in the total compression of the SLIPNOT surface at the bottom-die contact points. This will create a bare-material line at each of these intersections but will not alter the performance characteristics of the remaining surface.
Not-Covered Fabrication Methods
- Shearing
- Hole punching
- Saw cutting
- Other edge-related cutting methods
- Bends with a tighter radii than 3/4"
SLIPNOT’s surface hardness can and will dull tooling used for the above fabrication methods. Subsequent punches or shears done with dull edges can readily cause product flaking at impact areas. This is not the case with the fabrication methods covered under SLIPNOT’s delamination guarantee.
Bending material coated with SLIPNOT with a tighter radii than 3/4″ will increase the risk of surface cracking and/or delamination as the bend radius decreases.
SLPNOT products may be formed to tighter angles and smaller radii than what is outlined; however, these parameters are outside of the coverage of the delamination guarantee and are done at your own risk.
