Hello and welcome to the SLIPNOT Minute. My name is Kevin and I’m a regional safety solutions manager with SLIPNOT.
Today I’m going to go over the two main things that make SLIPNOT such a durable and long-lasting product.
The first thing, SLIPNOT ‘s bond strength, which is how well the SLIPNOT coating is bonded to the metal substrate it is applied to. Stainless steel SLIPNOT has a very high bond strength of 7,500 lbs per square inch. With such a high bond strength, it is very unlikely that the SLIPNOT coating will delaminate from the substrate when properly fabricated and maintained. It’s because of this high bond strength that SLIPNOT offers a limited 5-year extended warranty on stainless steel material. You can check the description below or visit our website to learn more about this warranty.
The second factor is SLIPNOT ‘s surface hardness. Steel and stainless steel SLIPNOT have a surface hardness of 55 to 60 on the Rockwell C scale. This is hard enough that it can withstand daily wear and tear while maintaining its high level of slip resistance, or coefficient of friction. Bond strength and surface hardness are critical factors to consider when looking at metal safety flooring.
