Slip resistance at the New York Times printing press
Slip resistant steel plates increasing worker efficiency at the New York Times printing facility
A large margarine processing facility was in need of a slip resistant solution for a conveyor cross-over. The cross-over allowed employees to make adjustments on the other side of the conveyor belt, without having to walk around the entire system. High traction hygienic flooring is essential in food processing plants due to the oil, grease, and other elements present on a daily basis.
In order to keep the employees accessing the stairs on their feet, the processing plant contacted one of their local contractors for a slip resistant solution. The contractors found SLIPNOT’s stainless steel plates and stair treads to be a perfect solution. SLIPNOT provided the margarine processing plant with (8) ¼ x 7 x 23-1/2 stainless steel non-slip stair treads & (1) ¼ x 24 x 30-1/16 304 stainless steel plate. Stainless steel is critical for food industries as it has anti-corrosion and chemical resistant properties.
The installation of the new anti-slip stainless steel plates and stair treads provide workers sure footing, which in turn increases productivity.SLIPNOT’s stainless steel products are NSF registered and currently used in numerous processing plants such as meat, cheese, dairy, beverage and processed foods.
