Slip resistant steel plates increasing worker efficiency at the New York Times printing facility
Golden Aluminum was established by the Coors Brewing Company in 1980. Both companies were founded by Bill Coors Sr. who had a dream to develop a 100% recyclable aluminum can. As of 2012, the first member of the Infinity Alloy Series was introduced, which is currently made from more than 75% of recycled cans. Today, the company successfully services many industries such as food packing, automotive, beverage packing, consumer products, and more.
Golden Aluminum is familiar with SLIPNOT products, as they currently utilize our non-slip steel plates in another area of the Fort Lupton, CO, plant.
The aluminum supplier contacted SLIPNOT for another anti-slip solution to be used on catwalk and mezzanine platforms. After reviewing project details, SLIPNOT provided 172 sq. ft. of 1" x 3/16" x various sized 19W4 steel bar grating. Golden Aluminum can rely on the steel grating for its longevity, strength, and cost effectiveness.
Making safety additions within the workplace can establish and build trust between employees and their employers. These actions and the installation of the new gratings give the workers a peace of mind that their well-being is a priority, which in turn increases productivity.
