SLIPNOT ladder rungs increase safety on drop-down ladders

A large loader manufacturer with products that have lift capacities ranging from 2,000 to 37,000 pounds and are widely used in multiple industries, offers a specific product that is capable of being driven on railroad tracks. Because of this, the ladder for getting on the loader is higher from the ground. To combat a safety hazard this higher step may cause, they created an optional drop-down ladder to bring the lowest rung closer to the ground.

To increase the safety of this optional drop-down ladder even further, the manufacturer partnered with SLIPNOT to provide slip resistant rungs for the drop-down ladders. They ordered stock sized 10' long x 1" diameter Grade 2 steel ladder rungs with a mill finish. Not only does the Grade 2 coating provide adequate slip resistance in both wet and dry conditions, the stock lengths and mill finish allow for customization in size and color.

Since partnering with SLIPNOT^®, the company has been able to increase the safety provided by its drop-down ladders. Not only do the ladder rungs provide slip resistance, but they are customizable. By following SLIPNOT^®'s fabrication and painting guidelines, they are able to get the rungs to the size the need and the color they want with no issues.
